About the Author
Enzo Vicci (1915–2008) arrived in Australia from Tuscany in 1947. With nothing but a handful of Sangiovese cuttings and a memory of his father's cellar, he built a vineyard in the Hunter Valley. Together with his partner Taras Semko, he founded Semko Vicci Winery and made wine for over fifty years. His notebooks, found after his death, form the basis of this book.
