For many years I have written rather odd, and some might say mad poetry about all sorts of things from Monsters and Robots to Witches, Cats, Parrots, Pirates, Science and just Life. All done with a certain amount of wit, enthusiasm and an upbeat edgy vibe. I have always assumed that sadly these would all be lost with the passing of time. However I am now embracing the world of self-publishing which involves a certain amount of shouting and waving my arms about at my PC, but it does mean that the world could if it was so inclined read my poetry.
Now I cannot tell a lie there are many characters and beasts who cast spells on or eat other characters or beasts, such is the nature of mankind, just look at the news generally. However this is poetry you can safely read to your children and they will enjoy it, although probably not entirely understand it; it is poetry you can also read to other adults who it is very likely will not understand some of it either.
If just one person reads this poetry and is inspired to pick up a pen and write a book of some sort (after all they do say there is a book in everyone) and then in the future publish it; then I will be a very happy chap.
