This outdoor playground looks impressive, it's tons of fun for kids, and it's beginner carpenter-friendly!
Instructions include 40 pages full of color photos, diagrams, and a simple, step by step walkthrough of the entire building process. Plans also include a material/shopping list with the quantities of hardware and wood you will need to purchase. You can use pressure treated lumber or cedar.
The tools you will need include a level, tape measure, square, miter or circular saw, a jigsaw for the round window, screwdriver/drill, and a hack saw. It's a pretty simple build, but it will take more than a Saturday afternoon!
The sandbox measures approx 8'x7'. For adequate space you should have around 21'x17' of space to allow a few feet of space around the entire structure with the accessories as I have pictured. (Space requirements will vary depending on your choice of accessories and slide).
Most of the build can be done solo, there are a few steps where you will benefit from having a helper for a few minutes.
