Ángel Joaniquet Tamburini (Barcelona, 1962) was one of the pioneers of ski jumping in Spain and competed in the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, representing a generation that learned the sport the hard way—by doing it first. Along the way, he also competed in Telemark skiing worlds, ice hockey, and competitive sailing
