4 small designs adapted from antique lace to be used for modern counted thread stitchery, worked as needlepoint counted from a chart using glass seed beads. These patterns can also be worked as plain counted cross stitch or needlepoint, or as a mix of thread stitches with bead accents. Two color variations of the cover design are offered with additional color suggestions. The stitch count of this pattern is 55 stitches high by 57 stitches wide, measuring about 5 inches (12.5 cm) across as shown on #24 mono needlepoint canvas (25 count evenweave linen fabric can be used instead). Materials suggested and used for models: size 11/0 glass seed beads, #24 mono needlepoint canvas (Congress Cloth) or 25 count evenweave linen fabric plus Kreinik and DMC metallic threads. Substitution suggestions are offered. These are patterns drawn on graph paper, intended to be worked as counted thread embroidery or needlepoint.
