Triage becomes a final decision instead of an initial assessment. Abnormal results appear without reaching the person responsible for acting on them. Drawing from coroners' findings, government investigations, court records, official reviews and family accounts, Berg reconstructs what happened while carefully distinguishing documented conclusions from allegations and unanswered questions.
