No one knows who created the artificial world Ceres and threw it into the orbit of Jupiter. No one knows why it was populated with prehistoric monsters. All anyone knows for certain is that the world was quickly quarantined; but that did not stop the government setting up a prison there. When a riot slaughters all the warders a new order is brought to the prison by a man named Dexter Valentine.
