This is the first book in the series describing ways to use Fake AI or Fake Artificial Intelligence to improve the performance and reliability for many of the devices you own and use at your home.
Fake AI uses that name to describe an approach that shares methods used by artificial intelligence and machine learning but without the computing power and memory of a computer. Instead, it uses your own senses, your own analytical powers, your own memory as supplemented by pencil and paper to recall the clues you have received over time that a device is deteriorating and headed toward poor performance or failure.
This book provides the reader with the tools needed to become more sensitive to important events that signal conditions and degradation that ultimately lead to deterioration so those situations can be avoided in the future both for the device being studied and for all similar or future devices that might suffer from the same forms of deterioration.
In other words, it is a way for you to learn how to get more out of the devices you own.
